Ahh "power" - there's the rub.
If WE agree to give government that power then what is there to control government if it gets corrupt. You know what they what absolute power does to people eventually. As a check to power we used to rely on the constitutions and respect for the higher widely accepted absolute principles but those are all going out the window now.
You know, humans have these images of higher things imprinted on their souls from day one and have the need to have those same images reflected rflected back to them in order to feel comfortable. Good luck with whatever ideology or images you are going to have to come with to replace those. Time is running out and people are getting hip to all the tricks and lies.
