Well, I missed this whole as I was tied up with some other issues.

I just did a very quick review of this combination.

Am I understanding that as an Aris Gold stock holder that I am going end up with 50% of my Aris Gold shares?

2 Aris Gold shares gets you 1 Aris Mining share. You now have half the shares at twice the price.

At this point is is not twice the price. Do you know the price of both stocks on the strike date? Thanks

I just checked the exc\hange for my shares and my loss is in the $1,000. Simply stated, we are paying to be taken over and my experience is as an X-senior officer, all you have to do is payoff Senior Managemnt and critical Board Members. Since over 50% is controlled by insiders this is an  easy vote to sell the company. This may be a good deal long-term but we are paying to be taken over

Not true termic1 !!! On exchange date Aris Gold was $1.14 US or $1.55 CDN. So on conversion date your shares in Aris Gold would have been half of GMC Mining which was $3.11. The share price of Aris Mining when you claimed you were down $1000 was $3.75!!! You are up $0.64 CDN for each consolidated new share of Aris Mining. The issue is that some brokerages have not had the conversions updated

gold and gold miners going crazy last few days while aris not moving. last time i checked, aris was producing gold not coal.

Invest 234 we are up 18-20 % from the merger date, I'm sure you would agree Kinross Gold is a premier senior producer, from that date it's up 20%. So? Be patient, yes Aris mining is severely undervalued but recent price appreciation is in line with other gold equities.

Youy are incorrect. Aris stock price was well over $2 but was run down after the deal was evaluated. The price on the strike date took into consideration the deal which drove the price down prior to the strike date   We were already screwed by then so getting Aris Gold as a steal will naturally drive up the combined mine operations.  That does not make it a fair price.

Whats goin on here? Heavy shrare price crash today while GDXJ and Gold spot is up. Strange

There's a heavy short presence in the stock trying to cap and force the price down to cover.  We won't know how large the short interest is until after October 15th.  My suspicion is we're looking at around over 1 million shares short. I'd think there would be much better shorting opportunities in the Gold mining space than Aris.  They have substantial positive cash
