RE: RE: Frank Holmes funds are selling ? GCM is now my biggest holding. But I still like to look out for negatives. A month ago CoffinTrader mentioned on this BB that Rick Rule owned 47 million shares of GCM. This was the first I heard of it so I started looking into this and found that it was actually Global Resources funds run by Frank Holmes that owned 47 million shares. But it is somewhat disturbing to see he has significantly reduced the holdings of GCM in his funds. He is very well connected and use to be a big touter of Columbia and Medoro in the past, so I mentioned this since it is definitely of interest. Hopefully the sales were only for tax loss purposes.
Also if this share has multi-dollar potential which I don't disagree with, why is the billionaire chairman Serafino Iacono's holdings so small ? Why is he not buying like crazy. His few million shares in GCM are just chump change for him relative to his net worth.
