His last buy was 26k shares @$4.75. I bought a boatload today. August 12th we get quarterly report. It should be good with strong guidance. GLTA

if he believed in the company he would have bought 1 million shares not 26k. there is something we don't know because this quote is ridiculous. it could be kept low to be bought. in any case, serafino has to wake up and do something for us shareholders.

there are more shares outstanding now following the GoldX -merger ..this lowers the the  earnings per share...   i think the market is wrong here because Toroparu is an great asset and not reflected in the SP, the same with Aris ,Denarius and so on ...      Segovia is valued with around 100 million USD ... strange ...     but in august there will be an ...more

you got it kkkrrr those jewelry boxes have really peaked my interest  and will really want to hear our high commander reiterate how fast  he will get that resource up and running.  Segovia value is such a joke as we just keep finding more resource. They have no idea how to value it. IKE

Increasing market value will be accomplished via a few routes:  Getting Toroparu up and running, thereby allowing an increase in the dividend.  Seeing the other assets (Denarius, Aris, etc.) progressing their projects.  One of the easiest ways to boost value (or perception of value) in the  market it to enact a name change that more closely reflects our diversified portfolio ...more

In the old airline disaster movies the crippled air liners were usually flown by Dean Martin or Charlton Heston and owned by  " Trans Global " .  It was also a name on many oil company disaster movies . As well as shipping . What about Zimbabwe Consolidated or Congo Resource Group LLP . Mining investors can`t get enough of Bob Friedland and those fine countries .

Do people do any due diligence when they buy a stock? Makes you wonder what percentage of retail investors are clueless. Just like a few years ago they were buying anything that had blockchain in its name. Companies were adding the word blockchain to thier name and thier stock would triple the next day. Makes you wonder what exactly the stock market is. Why would anyone buy a gold miner without ...more

True, if people actually did do DD they would find Colombia to be as good a place to mine as it's ever been. Problems crop up but nothing like years ago and no different than Mexico has or most African areas. Covid has been more of a problem than any country related problem. But, people don't do their DD and just believe what the main stream media tells them to believe. T

Also the history affecionados will tell you that the idea behind Gran Columbia name is rooted in history and refers to the liberation of Spanish colonies and the creation of a South American federation, more powerful and rich then the one that was created contemporaneously in North America.  I like the name, as to me it signifies the idea of South American (not just Colombia) unity, freedom ...more

stock market is just a giant casino....fundamentals have been out the door for a while now. As far as the intelligence of the average retail trader, just look at the general reaction on this board over the GLDX acquisition...zero long term thinking anymore

I have been saying that all the time. No such thing as investing..don't  blame traders or retail so called investors for that but blame the regulators where the prime goal has been liquidity and volume...fock the rest Although much of gcm's ills can be traced to management

people can be crazy for a while but companies that make a lot of money eventually go up, and companies that lose a lot of money eventually go down. simply because cash rich companies can give out larger dividends and buy back shares, while continually money losing companies eventually go out of buisiness.

invest234, yup I agree completely. I am accumulating GCM and have been for a while. They could easily afford to double their dividend right now, but the real prize is when Toro is up and running, that's gonna be a lot of cashflow! I'm not even counting Aris shares and Denarius stake when saying this company is DIRT cheap right now.

i want to see results from this new metallurgical plant at segovia ... GCM invested some million USD in this .. down the road this plant could be a big+++  ,  the new Toroparu-resource estimate + study could be great too ...    time to load up... next milestones ahead...
