C-TV Update on construction of second gold mine Toroparu

Impressive numbers for toro. With half a bil oz a y , there is no challengers in this sector at this price .  All that cash in the bank is mystery. He wanted to reassure the market .  It was time.

Glad to see Serafino agreeing with me. He knows in this inflationary situation, the best thing is to keep the cash and not buy back shares. Until Toroparo is producing and there is confidence the debt won't be higher. Ive been arguing to not buy back shares and use the money to reduce debt for a long time now. He's keeping the cash. That's just as good as reducing the debt. The future ...more

Alexco and argonault collapsed because they have no cash

Right . But look at how much money he spares right now. With wpm  , plus the div , plus the stakes in aris and elsewhere , gcm is at total opposite of ar.

With your authorization , desagree am i.  Why did he spend 3.6 mil cad ( hard money ) in dslv ?  The best medium of exchange is your share , not the cad or the usd. So buy as many cheap shares you can with inflated usd .  Now on a local point of view , it's possible the usd/peso ratio has a big impact .  Glty . ( Arg was really previsible . )

And what if the current insanity in crushed valuations of intermediate miners continues. Buy back shares now at $3.50 and a year or two later if gcm shares fall to $1.50 and they need cash issue shares for $1.50?. I trust Serafino. He's been in this business a long time knows the uncertainties and is acting prudently

In a worst case scenario, denarius and aris could fall big time too so there is no assurance he'll get the needed cash there either I'd he needs it

Stratochief you remain a Debby downer but now you have elevated yourself to comedian. This stock at $1.50 would be paying over 10% in dividend. Even the banks would invest at that price. I trust Serafino.... now you are being silly....you trust him but do not agree with anything he does? You are a funny guy with a lot of anger issues. IKE

Look at the real map :  Gcm has nearly 300 mil cash ( more  if i undestand his last input )  Plus 140 mil possible from wpm .  Gcm bought round 550 k shares way higher just in may / june . Inflation was the same. Don't tell me gcm is not able to spend 3 mil cad this summer for ex . And they did it last month for dslv. 1,5 cad the stock means mcap will be 150 mil cad . With ...more

gcm has the backing of wheaton. if gcm hypothetically required more cash, they can sell forward more gold to wheaton like they did with aris. argo should have used stream financing instead of equity financing on that last raise. when the share price is so low, stream financing is better than equity financing. toro is a much bigger 10 mil oz deposit with much bigger ev and irr, so would be more ...more
