MHP, I cant recall but have you ever contacted IR at Arc with regards to the reasoning for Kakwa development delays? Curious what their response was when asked directly about Kakwa.

Beakr123 , HP is talking in circles and nobody seems to be calling BS !!!!! ARX is spending more in Kakwa than any other area , hp wants you to believe management is in a developmental cul de sac with Attachie (which is not true) . Look at "its" history for posting on stockhouse , nonstop attacks on ARX . Thats not an "investor" , thats the footprint of either a short seller ...more

Arc has specifically stated they intend to keep production at Kakwa relatively flat so nothing to do with MHP's thoughts or opinion. I'm curious if he has spoken with IR about it to see why they've elected to do so in this price environment. Decline rates are high (40%) so thats probably why even though production is supposed to remain flat, they are still spending a ton of money in ...more

Management is having a tuff time getting their story together. Remember when they put out their statement on holding production flat, the price of oil was a lot lower then. Attachie is all about risk mitigation, however is just keeps getting risker add on top of full cycle risk, treaty 8, new project startup risk. This risk was mentioned in the last quater results.  ARC lacks the dynamics in ...more

I asked you a pretty direct question and yet you still dance around it. So basically you've never contacted Arc to get any sort of clarity about your issue with flat production at Kakwa? Well here is your answer direct from IR hot off the press this afternoon:   ARC's near term objective at Kakwa is to optimize the asset's well and pad designs to help bate the decline rate ...more

I told you before Beakr , HC is talking in circles . Look at his history , page after page of ARX attacks . Tell me who would do that if they really held any shares ????

it certainly suggests they have zero plans to go back to putting $1.1b into this asset any time soon...this merger should never have taken place.

I guess that depends on if you want to make a quick buck now or if you want something sustainable and long term with a dividend. Seems like the responsible thing to do in my mind. Those are some hefty declines and decreasing those along with maintenance cost is only more money back to investors. A much different story but look up Ladyfern if you want an example of bad management of an asset ...more

For sure i have been in touch with them, i have the direct email address for the CFO and IR_person, i don't talk to them through standard channels, the get my messages directly.  I told them i think their approach is retarded, and i don't like what they are doing at Kakwa. The want to reduce the decline at kakwa about 2% a year, year over year.  Does that means they are putting ...more

Lol! You do realize the IR direct email (Martha) is posted on the website and also auto responds with the VP's email as well? Your not that important MHP. ARX is clearly not for you. You dont want conservative risk adverse growth so find a junior and invest there.

Twist is however you want these are the facts, i am not looking for importance here.  Vii Generations 2020 Budget VII Generations 2019 Budget So in both these years they forecast produciton volumes over around 205,000 boe a day.
