Q3 results

Roughly half of Q3 nailed down already. Average September Nymex Futures 50 day average is about $72 U.S. WTI., which is the benchmark for other liquids. NG prices, for the most part, still hanging around $4, with the Henry Hub, last time I looked, translating into about $5 Canadian. This should be a great quarter barring a complete collapse of all enegy prices, which looks very unlikely? Overseas demand for NG is great at prices so attractive to exporters that any possible surplus is being sopped up. Relax my friends, enjoy the nice little dividend and anticipate big debt paydowns and dividend increases down the road.

Rbc is predicting a whopping 50 cents eps for 3rd quarter. I am expecting initiation of normal 5 cents monthly dividend within next 6 months

Dividends should be a priority, it is the only thing that will rescue the share price.  Dividends should be a function of FFO, traditionally ARC guilding principles was built on the principle of paying 25-30% of FFO as a dividend.  Right now they are playing like 8%. So there is a lot of room for dividend increases, and ARC should play back the shareholders, rather then paying down 2% ...more

The dividend will shortly be .066 per quarter or .022 per month. Back around 2006, 2007, 2008 the dividend was .20 cents PER MONTH. Correct if I'm wrong. I'm not suggesting this can or will happen again because Arc is much bigger, more conservative, with many more shares to teat feed. However if the dividend went up by 10 or 20%, I would not be grumpy about it. Money is rolling in now by ...more
