ARC Hedged

Is this accurate?

As of May 5, 2021, approximately 50 per cent of ARC's anticipated crude oil and condensate production and approximately 50 per cent of ARC's anticipated natural gas production is hedged for the balance of 2021.

The hedges are less going into q3 and 4 and 2022 has about 30 percent hedged. The info is clearly identified in the latest company presentation. Most companies seem to be stuck with some un attractive hedges other than birchcliff who is un hedged and only sells a tiny amount thru aeco.

POU is also almost unhedged when it gets into Q4, the hedges they have are very high prices, i am very disappointed with the hedging strategy of ARX, but i guess it is only my way of thinking, it is more of an income averaging strategy, the issue it smear bad prices into other years. Does not show a lot of confidence in underlying commodity.  ERF has all their gas basically unhedged and ...more
