ARE BUYBACKS A WASTE OF CAPITAL?

At 115 M shares bought back ARX saves over $114 MM each and every year on dividends.

They also increase EPS metrics by 115M / 723M x 100 = 16%  moving forward. 

All this while reducing debt and increasing production which results in what?

You guessed it ....increased dividends!

Buybacks and debt reduction and divies ....Oh my!

Buybacks are the reason for lack of shareholder interest in holding ARX shares. Any benifit because of the buyback, just got flushed with the resent pull back and you are no futher ahead.  ARX is in the business of oil and gas exploration and development, they failed at hedging and cost shareholder billions, now they are failing them with share buyback that only facilitate day traders to ...more

So maybe you could explain the pull back in all of the vaunted stocks that you tout huh big boy? Doesn't seem like a big interest in holding there as not a one of them is riding that big 52 week high. So what is the lack of interest in holding there? It's hilarious to me and so predictable when a certain nobody gets their knickers in a twist any time the SP experiences a garden-variety correction. That's just the market doing what the market does, Sunshine. And it's happened to every name in the sector this week.
