DJ Ascendant Resources CEO and CFO Resign

  Ascendant Resources Inc. Chief Executive Chris Buncic and Finance Chief Rohan
Hazelton have resigned, effective April 30, the company said.
  Mr. Buncic is one of the founding partners of the Toronto-based mining
company. Mr. Hazelton had been finance chief from 2016.
  Ascendant didn't specify the reason for Messrs. Buncic and Hazelton's
departures.
  Executive Mark Brennan will become interim CEO, the company said Monday.
Alonso Sotomayor, the corporate controller, will become interim CFO, Ascendant
said.
  The company also tapped Joao Barros, the president of Ascendant Portugal and a
joint venture, as president. Mr. Barros will continue to oversee exploration and
development at the Lagoa Salgada VMS project, located on the Iberian Pyrite Belt
in Portugal, the company said.
