He wasn't selling. You're just making it up and/or have no idea what you're talking about. If the % of the fund goes down it doesn't mean he sold. The % of the fund is a mathematical formula that includes the $ value size of the fund as the denominator and the $value invested as the numerator. The numerator changes even for the months he doesn't sell because the stock price changes. The denominator is the sum of all his holdings and as such is quite volatile due to the market price per share of every individual holding plus cash. If investors are net buying his fund, the % in Ath will decline if he does nothing with his shareholding. I'm sure you know all this, and I'm pretty sure I've already pointed all this out to you.
