If it's all just "wash trading" why would it be necessary to wash 50 million shares today? All that wash trading for the last year has been a few million per day. So what's different today? I'm sticking with the best case scenario that at least 2 or 3 blocks are being accumulated to either make a bid, or block someone , ore some two, :) else from stealing it cheap.

Not all of it. They throw these volumes to get their 2-5 million of new shares at low prices.
