Assumption: 2/3 of the daily traded shares are the same shares traded again and again. Therefore there are less than 200,000 shares really traded every day.
Finding : it would take 30 consecutive days (1.5 mo) for the shorts to cover.
Sure if existing shareholders stop selling and start buying more...the market makers will let the stock climb up to 35$ and then higher. It is the law of supply and demand.
