Can today's news affect investor's day announcements! Just finished listening to Gerald Tremblaly (economist Radio-Canada). This agreement/settelement (DPA) would be a first for a canadian company.
I was wondering if snc will still go ahead (assuming that was the plan) with an increase in dividends and/or buyback programme? How much could this settlement cost? Will the company decide to hold back in case the slap is worst than expected?
Whatever settlement they agree to, it will be added to the $280M already agreed to with the last scandale.
