The WB suspension has been lifted. https://financialpost.com/investing/snc-lavalin-bribery This means SNC will be using Atkins to access an agency that spends12B per year. That's why we dropped today. Plus we will win the Eglinton case.

Hi. Thanks for the post. Just curious. Why would this mean a drop today? Isn't it bullish?
Comment by Gabriel on Oct 13, 2020 9:20pm
This means they have been removed from the "black list" and can therefore go after mega projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the European Union Fund, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC),.. they all share their lists. Means you are out from all if blacklisted by one. What we are talking about: https://www.adb.org/news/asia-infrastructure-needs-exceed-17-trillion ...more

Thanks Gabriel.

I'm still now following why being removed from the blacklist would drive a drop in the share price? Given the pool of available contracts now shouldn't that be extremely bullish?

I'm just surprised that this news wasn't released to the market via offical PR regarding World bank contracts. Based on the post below it was posted on SNC website. Wouldn't this be considered material info?

Hmmm. Why wasn't this a PR today and not just disclosed on website?
