Feels good.Disclaimer. I have never made any money with mining plays - only lost. Seriously. :-) I hadn't invested in the sector in a few years as a result.
In any case the Covid environment and the interest in establishing secure supply chains for critical minerals outside of China, has me back in the game. A little, not too exhaustive honestly, due diligence led me to Avalon. I was looking for rare earth plays.
I like what I see. I can see a return to past valuations and greater if any of these projects begin to produce. I like the diversity of the projects. I see presentations like the YoutTube video highlighted below that included the Naturual Resources Canada reference signaling a greater probability that, unlike 8 years ago when they were close, it will come to fruition. I like the way Don presents. He appears genuine to me. Of course that might not result in the greatest promotional impact - but I am OK with that. I could also be a fool. ;-)
I bought more this AM and am excited to see what the next couple of months and years bring.
I find myself in Halifax every now and then. It sure would be fun to make the drive to Kemptville in the coming months and see some activity.
