Strangely quiet

This board sure is quieter than many others.  Not sure what, if anything, should be read into it.  Does Avalon simply have a smaller following on Stockhouse?  Admittedly many of those busy boards are filled with baseless posts speculating stock price increases - and decreases.  But there are reasonable discussions too.

Is my previous valuation post ridiculous in any respect?

What other Canadian rare earths plays would posters here suggest i look at as an alternative or addtion to a portfolio targeting this space.  Or do you think Canadian rare earth success is less likely than others?

Thanks

Most of us here have been waiting for years for this stock to ''relive'' its glory days , -or come close to it- , and /or for a miracle so we can make some money , or some of us our money back. We don't say much because not much is happening. When it comes to Canadian rare earths this company is perhaps  at the top in terms of longevity , experience and projects in ' ...more

An update on the planned bulk sample from Separation Rapids would be nice....but then again maybe that'll get pushed to next year like it seems everything does

Totally understandable.  It's not like I find reason to go post on the Blue Note mining board (not that it even exists anymore) after taking a bath there.  Just one example.  I get it. :-)  I guess the difference is Avalon is stil active at least, and in a space where it appears the realities of the world might see a real interest in developing critical minerals in a safer ...more

pffft... well run?? Why is it that they have to sell off to the Aussies in order to get it off the ground (ree) ? We have a bloated share price and no money !

understoood, their just lying there, it is a medium- long play, but all the analysists and interviews i saw were positive, they liked the management structure and direction, where am i wrong?

The reason that Avalon's share price is so ridiculously low is that the stock has been mercilessly sold short for several years now. This was done most likely by an American company Avalon did a private placement with some years ago. This company has been trading under the house designation of Anonymous. I have tracked the individual trades in Avalon's stock by this algo for several years ...more

I thought there were rules/criteria for stocks to be eligible for shorting - one being a minimum price.  Disturbingly I don't know for sure.  I have no doubt the ability to short would be used for purposes other than the orginal liquidity argument.  I'd be 100% behind measures targeting abuse/manipulation that I am convinced occurs, but probably not to the extend often ...more
