It would appear that south of boarder Santa Claus is giving AVL a well deserved boost.
The announcement by government to support AVL and RCK is not going un-knowdest.
Today AVL gained 16.96% on good volume 1.076 Mil shares traded today.

And there hasn't even been any outright official support announce yet, just a suggestion from a minister that the government is looking to support a lithium converter in Thunder Bay and mines in northern Ontario.  That stated in a call announcing actual support for a cobalt refinery.
