Was once nearly $11.00! Has done noting productive throughout it's existense other than water down the stock and 10 years of safety reports -do nothing do no harm. Assets consist of dreams and dust, taiings, inaccesible mines, and assorted other thrash heaps. They have had a free ride. In my humble analysis it is a three legged sled dog.

Who can argue with you ? Facts speak louder than words and reports..

Jwrent,  The reason the stock was $10 before was because of a rare earth bubble which was cause by China cutting off rare earths to Japan. Once that bubble popped, Avalon had nothing to offer for rare earths. Fast Forward to 10 years later and now they have a lithium deposit that is extremely promising.  This company is so under valued, it's ridiculous.  Plus if they get ...more

I agree that  there is  ..some promise  in AVL  in the near future. And notice I said in the near future..However  in 2011 AVL had  about 80 million shares or less. Maybe a reverse split is in the cards? A lot of dilution has taken place..It won't look good for big investors. Or even smaller , savvy ones..

they don't need a reverse split, they just need to announce they are building a lithium refinery in Thunder Bay. That would send this stock way up. Their lithium reserves are larger than Rock Tech Lithium's. The Donald will make it happen, finally

First of all, I'm not a big fan of Bubar nor AVL and consider myself a gambler with this play. It is very easy to mock AVL's performance so far but how about the other Canadian rare earth miners? Isn't it fair to admit that they've all been at least as bad as AVL? The first and only rare earth miner actually doing something in Canada is Vital Metals from Australia and it seems that ...more

So there's some movement at Nechalacho under Vital. I'll note (again) that Bubar is not a developer; his history is in exploration, and this gap may have been a negative in some AVL projects.

To tell the truth, this is also what I am most concerned about. But I'm still enough a gambler to see how he deals with his lithium play.
