It operates through three segments: Marketing and Distribution, International Farming, and Blueberries. Its International Farming segment owns and operates orchards from which all fruit produced is sold to its Marketing and Distribution segment. Its farming activities range from cultivating early-stage plantings to harvesting from mature trees. Its Blueberries segment is a farming operation that cultivates blueberry plants in Peru. It provides value-added services including ripening, bagging, custom packaging, logistical management, and quality assurance. The Company also provides its customers with merchandising and promotional support, insights on market trends and hands-on training.

what is heartless about the reaction is mgmt's.... 'A.W.O.L.' response. For those who are not familiar with military acronum ....it means away without leave.
Mgmt must be aware of the stock price action this am.
AND what about the analysts/major stock holders of AVO. Were they informed or left out in the dark like the rest of us. Surely they are calling AVO to find out what the heck s going on.
Maybe we should jam the phone lines or email AVO for answers or CLARIFICATION.
I wonder if insiders are selling & if so that could be problematic. More downside probably & maybe there will be other people leaving AVO's board.
