LAWYER

LAWYERIm not sure they needed to retain a lawyer if there was not additional parties involved with artis now.  If Manji and the board were just drawing up alternative options, i.e. bringing more sales into the pipeline, it definitely does not require any lawyers.  I also dont think Sandpiper would take this private because its a blatant conflict of interest, unless they were to offer a spectacular price, as Manji would then need to step down and appoint a indepedent trustee  to evaluate the takeover as what is best for all unitholders (as what happened with PDL and NWH)

Based on these murky facts it would appear Manji is tryng to sell the REIT to some parties on mass and he may do so around $12 is my guess, a good exit for big boys too.
