They simply do not want to bid up Canadian REITS or utilities for that matter.  It wont matter if the DOW is up 1000points tomorrow, or if bond yields plummet another 20 basis points, they will flop sideways, perhaps waiting for another nasty route down the second the market conditions allow it.  Remember Nov 1-3, how everyday the sector gained 3-4%? It was literally effortless bidding them up.  But now, they are programmed to remain idle. Rather disturbing actually.  There's literally 10-20% upside unrecognized right now because of their silly games.
