REITS are a terrible investment.

Might has well buy a levered bond ETF on the long side or the short side. thats all they are. Buy a fixer upper property in toronto/canada and just collect the 4-5% rent and get a nice 2x the appreciation in 10-20 years. These reits are used by wall street goons to move up and down with abond
