Interest rates

Interest ratesI generally perceive hiking interest rates as an equivalent of holding a beach ball under water....suppressing it (inflation)...thats why central banks are reluctant to start cutting.  Unless theres meanginful job losses and business closures that axes demand to the point it will take years to recover, but everyone doubts they are willing to go that far.  Otherwise whats going to happen with pent up demand especially in CRE/housing and when that 5 trillion sideline money is ready

As the video that frankie shared last week, the guy said even if rates go higher, it just means inflation will be worst down the road.
