I'll sum up the video

Because it reiterates my points Ive been making, the smart people agree!
  • If fed stops fighting inflation, long bond yields wil go up
  • Biden is basically FINISHED in November if inflation/rates are not down, the bottom 50% of the population that carry debt are getting hosed right now
  • The 60 minutes prompter leaked info that powell possibly said no rate cuts to "summer" now
  • Powell expects more small bank failures that may be contained- the host does not think so, reignites systemic risk

All this over this boogie inflation thats 1% higher than the arbritrary 2% target.

I think they will fudge inflation to be satisficatory by June, so they can start a cutting cycle and give 3 to 4 cuts by Nov 1 election time

Great summary Gary.  I'll add that if they start cutting rates then inflation could spike again which could be a talking point during election time. I.e, people stop believing in Janet Yellen and Joe Biden and the fake economic data they are presenting.
