I mean, the alternative is having US interest debt be a major line item. 33 trillion in debt
banks are sitting on 100b in bond losses
risk of a hard landing
bad cpi then anchors high inflation expectations and becomes a self fullfilling prophecy
CRE is of course having major headaches
can just say inflation is 0.5% lower annualized and start cutting a bit
makes the most sense in my humble opinion
