REIT "BOTTOM"

REIT "BOTTOM"The fall lows seem to have held very well for VNQ (17%+) above, and XRE despite having an ugly June the triple bottom off 14.25 last week should be poised to also have bottomed in Oct 2023.

That begs the question is the bottom in and even sideways trading wouldnt be the end of the world for awhile longer

Does 10 year make another run to 5% with unemplyment rising? doubt it

Does oil make another run for $85+ with september contracts being traded in 4 more weeks...doubt it

I dont buy the TJ argument that a recession will cause reits to plummet....the bond yields will tumble and reits by nature will become more attractive.

I dont how US or canad will get more bad inflation prints with these 5%+ rates for over a year, clearly it wouldnt be the medicine if inflation started trending back up without a cause

Black swan event is what to watch out for, but according to the fed there is not going to be anything
