Monday is the most important day in history for AX.UN

People are giving excuses that Manji maxed out his buys and cant afford anymore.....and that the NCIB may have paused to focus on debt or further asset sales. That would be ok if only one stopped, and a rational explanation. But both stopping at the EXACT same time implies both reasons are flawed, and coincidentally when Q1 is officially closed. Q1 = super negative.

Now lets talk about what would happen with a $ 6.50 unit price...$500 million market cap. Investment in D/FCR is almost 300 million...thats when they steal artis for free!

Monday I hope this theory is proved entirely WRONG.

"i'm long but get ready for a $6.50 unit price..." are you sure you are not short??? nothing particular about monday for artis. the debentures were not expected to be redeemed. as for insider buys or ncib, the company could also be under blackout. they canceled another 1.3 million on friday. massive

"they canceled another 1.3 million on friday. massive "? No that has been accumulating for weeks and is just the formal cancelling. THERE WERE NO BUYS POSTED LAST WEEK. No blackout starts the last week of the quarter, and even so, the NCIB can side-step it with automated criteria. Manji + NCIB halted = BAD NEWS. $6.50 will come in a heart-beat on a pisspoor Q1.

i realize they were accumulated in the prior week and then submitted for cancelation which appeared on friday's sedi filings, still a massive amount for a reit like ARTIS which already has a tight float. i suspect artis wouldn't be buying back units if company fundamentals were weak nor likely would have manji bought over $3 million himself. actually they have leverage metrics they must ...more
