This is the only period in past 5 years when REITS on tsx dived without any US sell off. And comes on two days after boc cut.

I fully admit I am the least educated here.  I just have theories and observations.   My thoughts is that this is a trifecta of no-bid, lack of market liquidity in Canada combined with short selling and wholesale dumping of Canada by funds and foreigners.  The stocks are thus left in the weak hands of retail investors who are themselves being driven into the ditch by the Liberals

Yeah my mind would be more at ease if there was a reason.  I guess we'll find out next week if it continues it ain't capital gains
