Lazy analysts and sales

Lazy analysts and sales

It is hard to imagine that alot of analysts get paid for the lack of work they do. I watched a clip from CNBC and a Zachary Karabell was saying that the Z10 might be a great phone but he hasn't seen it and in fact he dumped his BlackBerry for an iPhone six months ago. He even stated that we are perfect examples of what is happening in the market right now.  He basically compared BlackBerry to Palm https://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?play=1&video=3000149702

Another article about a week ago, the analyst said the carriers are not going to want to pay the extra fees that BlackBerry charges.  If he had done some research, he would know that the Z10 does not go through the BIS so no extra fees for the carriers on non BEST accounts.

I was in a small mall that has a Telus outlet and a Source store. At theTelus store, the sales person said that they sold 40 Z10 so far and we are a small store. She said that they are awesome.  She was waiting for the Q10 to replace her Bold. She also has a Samsung Rugby but likes the physical keyboard. They have a demo and brought it out. It was charging when I first went in. She stated that they have a hard time keeping them in stock since they only get a few at a time.

At the Source they only sold 3, but said they were pre ordered and that people are asking for them but they can't get them.

I am going to go to a larger mall later. I am in Sault Ste Marie, ON
