Apple iPhone contract roll-offs

Apple iPhone contract roll-offs

Apple iPhone sales by iPhone

2008 iPhone 3G 11.5 Million units

2009 iPhone 3GS 20.5 Million units

2010 iPhone 4   39 Million units

2011 iPhone 4S 72 Million units

2012 iPhone 5 124 Million units

There is no reason why Blackberry cannot capture a significant number of current iPhone customers when their contracts some due. Additionally, BB can welcome back significant former BB subscribers now that the Q10 is here and Z10 is out.  Apple unit sales numbers began in June for each year.  So you could probably take 2009 and 2010 sales of 60 million units and figure 50% were 3 year contracts, so 30 million iPhone subscribers contracts will roll off.  Increase in Smart phone sales and revenues are confirmed by Rogers and others.  This can only bode well for BB.  Any thoughts?  CJ
