We could debate Stockhouse corporate statements all day long but fact is they do little to ensure any of them actually bear fruit. If you want culpability then for starters look towards them. I think most come here to experience exactly what Stockhouse promises but eventually end up having to deal with uncontrolled unruliness. Call it forum anarchy if you wish, inmates running the asylum. People take liberties plus the law into their own hands and the results aren't pleasant reading. I for one take umbrage with rulebreakers and do my best not to get swallowed up by it. It's very hard to maintain even a neutral stance when under a constant barrage of insults, profanity, and general mayhem.
Why does Stockhouse allow or fail to police those who don't comply with the forum rule book? Numbers, as in advertising dollars? I guess we're never going to find out if civilized conversation will always be heard here. Does it mean we have to live with what Stockhouse allows? Seems so. It's a joke, IMO. I don't pretend to have a halo over my head and would gladly step back to listen to intelligent advice and debate but reality says "ain't going to happen if no one does anything about '. It's up to Stockhouse. If they can't deliver their promise then don't expect normalcy. Otherwise your choices are either stay or leave. I could go on and on but stopping for now.
