RE:RE:gm-challenges-big-tesla-Yasch, of course they 'should' have been going pedal to metal, but...  as you and so many others know, they didn't have to. GM is in bed with big oil and big politics. So safe for GM to say they want to be 50% electric by some far flung date or 100% by a further flung date. What's happened is as simple as Musk survived and has forced their hand. The result is moving goal posts and it's a very fluid game these days.

I'm what I'd call a 75% Musk fan, but even my 25% respects what he's done and all those pitted against him every step of the way. You can be sure Tesla wouldn't have been considered too big to fail back in 2008. 

I would love to see a partnership between BlackBerry and Tesla. A couple years down the line, I would like to see a bidding war for the Berry between Tesla and Amazon. My dreams are fluid too.
