Part of the investors job is to connect dots. Many of us have been on this for a long spell. I know it's coming up on 10 years of mostly in for me. From my layperson perch, I reckon way more non disclosure agreements than not. BlackBerry is now more or less the foundational plumbling, with part of job description being to allow their clients to pay for the glory. A few missteps aside, Chen, in my book, is both a brilliant engineer and business person. I also believe he adheres to an ethical compass I'm comfortable with.
With respect to the trolls, me thinks they're going to be getting plenty worked up about a good many things in the weeks, months and years ahead. BlackBerry is now firmly in drivers seat ;) :)
