Dear RavenTRUST ME if they put me in MGMT at BB i would light up a firecracker under everyone's behind at 4 am in the MORNING!!! These guys are lazy with famliy life. They don't know work after 5 pm!!! They come in at 9 and leave at 5!!! there's no working over night or in weekend or on holidays!!! There's ZERO sacrifice by management or engineering!
Chen goes golfing more than he's in Canada office!!! The guy has checked out!! he's 65+++++ and in his chinese culture that's like beyond retirement!! I love chinese people but it's young ones that work extreme hard...those below 45!
I'm only mad because if we had IVY 2-3 years ago ready to go in cars, then we sould have left no option for Car companies but to use our software. Now car companies have become smart and are doing this Ivy feature on their own!! Like why pay BB for collecting data from sensors and doing some basic machine learning. I can hire ML engineers, i have FleetWise and amazon vast amount of machine learning models....why do i need Ivy.
None of these people would survive in china or at tesla or at spaceX. You can't have family life if you're trying to turn a company around!!! The revenue has plummeted from like 10 billion 10 years ago to now barely 600m!!!!!!!!!!! Why is there NO sense of URGENCY at blackberry!!!!!!!!!!!
Chen said rev was decliining in 2017 because of sales reps shortage. it's been 5 years since then so why has rev gone down year after year???? why is no one in board asking thsi? He is retired and just collecting pay check to show up and play golf.
