Chen should've been fired 5 years ago...And yes, you have to wonder where all the pumpers have disappeared to because for a decade they were singing this man's virtues and how great he was at Sybase and poised to repeat the same with Blackberry.
Fact is Chen had ONE serious turnaround success story in his career and that in no way makes him a guru despite the hype surrounding the man that made it look like something much more.
Today the stock is a fraction of what it was in 2013 and the company has never turned a profit in all the time Chen was at the helm, and make no mistake this lame attempt to split the company in two is nothing more than a desperate attempt to cover up Chen's failures. Blackberry will do no better under some new moniker let alone any new CEO who is effectively the chief executive of a yard sale.
As for the touts like Yasch and Nelly...BOTH OF YOU should be damned ashamed of your conduct here and the relentless pumping and attempts to belittle those that called this stock correct for years. History will tell any experienced player in the market that the so-called 'basher' is far more informed and objective about investments than someone enthralled with a personality or a brand. But of course I would never expect either of these two shills to ever come out here and admit they got it wrong. If anything they'll put some other spin on it, or the in the case of Nelly, just repost garbage from Stockwits from equally clueless pumpers dining out on fumes. You both deserve what you got here after years of myopia.
