  Appears FB doesn't care what they take or who's privacy is compromised. it's just a business expense to them and if they can get away with it then great. Quite a luxury to have. Perhaps the courts should start coming down even harder on this behaviour if FB isn't going to fix it. They've been receiving too much sympathy simply because they make it seem as if everyone

Sorry, forgot to ask this in last post. Question for legal experts: Now that FB has settled with BB, do they now own the patent or does it remain our property and do they still get to use it but with an annual fee attached?

Thanks Yasch. I wonder what FB would do. I think either way, buy outright or lease, it can't be cheap for them. If both parties settle out of court then why would there be a penalty? I can understand BB insisting on back rent plus percentage of proceeds gained from our software's usage during whatever length of time it was. That in itself could be very lucrative.
