Blackberry stock price hinges on John Giamattios performance

Now you see why he was awarded 300K shares!!! The entire growth of BB in low to mid term hinges on him performing and brining in customers. In long run the iot will kick in but that's way way out there (3-5 years and still will be low).

Cyber needs to grow 50% this year. Our current Cyber rev for year is $490 Million...we need to show $735M for this year into 2023. That's 50% growth. So at minimum we need to show average cyber revenue in June, Sept, Dec and March 2023 of $183.75M. If crowdstrike is doing $400M a qtr why the fk aren't we able to do even half that with like 52 products?

Our CS business is where growth is that John Giamateo needs to show. I trust he's competent so hoping he can show insane growth in coming qtrs.

Last year's Software and Services (Iot and CS) was $651M.  If this year Chen comes through with high end of his guidance ($690-$715) if 715 the growth is 15% in CS and IOT combined If 690 the growth is 11%. This is SAD. Morons can't grow in hyper growth market for some reason.  We need the higher end number or else we're fked.

Thank yasch. I'm losing it man. Yes typo I guess.  so would that satisfy the wallstreet that we are growing ? Or will they include licensing when comparing year over year to knock it down? Just wondering what type of growth we need to show to get 10x sales to kick off? We have like 4x which is normally assigned to stagnant companies with no future.  john G has to come through ...more

Cyber at $135 mil for Q4 would be 10.6% over last Q4 and sequentially (from Q3) an increase of 5.46% - which annualized is a touch over 30% growth rate for Cyber. Guidance will be important but based on BMW and other wins, and CISA / JCDC news slip, things looking up. Anaylzed, the market is valuing Cyber at basically zero. Too many are ignoring looking at BB correctly. But we can be sure that ...more

@buddybarry this was by far the best explanation. thank you.  So i'm sure lot of peole see this too? So why is WS not giving us the valuation ? shouldn't the market auto-adjust? What can BB or mgmt do to change this perception?  Thsi is insane. I feel like CYBER should be biggest valuation similar to CRWD/S1..yes we're not growing but that was past. We were integrating all ...more

Those who see it are buying the shares (as exampled by the names mentioned). The way to change perception is to explain the story accurately to investors and potential investors. The recent institutioanl buyers are very smart and do lots of their own research. BB are getting the job done. It's showing (IOT growing at 40%) The only potential negative spin a FUDster can use is that cyber growth ...more

i saw vanguard increase too and multiple of vanguards subsidiary. morgan and some other WS firms added too so that's good. but do they feel stupid now at 20-3-% lower then when tehy started? I'm sure they are lowering their average.  is that 30% total or 30% for cyber? I feel like cyber we should be able to do 60%. Crowd even with 1.4billlion rev does like 50% plus annually so not ...more

yeah even though it might be small amount in their portfolio but 2mil shares or 18mil$ is a lot.  when do they have to all report next? 45 days after q4 or soon as they add more?
