Thanks for posting this Nelly. I really appreciate your continuing updates. Sorry I haven't contributed much lately but my mind seems to be on the Russian invasion.  I find it heartbreaking to see what is going on in Ukraine. It's really depressing to see what man is capable of doing to others. Haven't we learned anything from the past? I'm afraid that it will get worse before ...more

Yasch, It is heartening to see the bravery of the Ukrainians, and the support they are receiving from foreigners who have taken up arms and gone to fight in Ukraine. I also find some hope in the number of Russians who are openly protesting in the streets or leaving Russia and saying they will never return. But it’s disturbing to see the reaction of some North Americans who are complaining about ...more

Almost as long as there has been life, war has been a part of it. Mankind continues to wage war even though the consequences often breed nothing but misery. However, when a person is called to defend his or her country, or protect other defenseless people, it is his duty to fight. There is no question that there is evil in the world and we must not rest on our laurels and say it is none of our ...more

Well said, Digs and Yasch. For the most part, I'm taking a break from posting. Tired of getting caught up in and at times instigating toxic back 'n' forth with our troll friends... all too happy to leave the board to their telling each other what a bad chap JC is. Nelly, you're more consistent than the storied Gordie Howe. I have little to add to what you guys have said about Putin ...more

Yasch, I sure hope you were out speaking the same about George W Bush ll during his SHOCK AND AWE terror that he inflicted on the Iraqi's. War is horrible/horrendous anyway you cut it , and unfortunately for many it has become to big an industry. Strange that you never hear what the damage is to Enviroment from a tomahawk missile or any other type of bomb for that matter.

I am on NO social media sites. Not even Facebook. I am an independent voice who opposes war at all costs. So, on that note, George W Bush jr/Tony Blair are just as much tyrants as Putin. The US of A supported Hussian in the war against Iran.....so I guess he was acceptable at one point in time. Wonder what changed? Again, never a mention in the Wests push to go green against how much damage bombs, ...more
