Scrap heap

Blackberry reminds me of a muscle car I once owned of which I had visions of grandeur in it's restoration. After spending thousands of dollars on replacement parts and hundreds of hours on attempted body and mechanical fixes I realized I was in over my head and sold it off for only pennies on the invested dollars and nothing for my time. Finally the tormenting had ended but the pain still lingers after all these years.

So are you saying you didn't learn your lesson? If BB is a muscle car, that could be awesome. If you bought the right one. He couldn't get any traction and I am sure there were many high level disagreements ...more

Hey you'll get no argument from me about Chen. I always believed he was overrated and that his turning around Sybase 25 years ago had little bearing on his ability to turn this dog around.  As I said in a previous post he should've been shown the door here five years ago. Worst CEO in tech I've seen in near 30 years.
