Buy the Future not the past.

Posted something similar before, but its worth repeating.

The Past

Whats done is done, BB use to be the king of smartphones, they were so late to change they could not hold on to 2nd or even 3rd place. They outright failed. That took the stock down from $100+ to where we are today.

Present and Future
Cars made today is like comparing the flip phine to when blackberry just launch the smartphone. They are leading in a solid industry with the technology of the day. This is where we are investing, their royalty backlog alone is 1/3 of market cap. Then we have Nvidia they are the AI chip leader like blackberry was smart phone leader. Now Nvidia is not making blackberry past mistakes, they know their chips rocks and is the hottest thing. Robots are the future and old robot tech can be greatly improved so to make their chips more marketable, they want the company with a leading RTOS(QNX).

Nothing is guaranteed in investing but after 4 straight negative quarter, blackberry last quarter performance is the first turn in the tide. Covid slowed up supply chain so the Royalty
backlog grew and soon BB will be collecting.

BB valuation vs prospect is great, I have been watching for years and now pulling the trigger for a value purchase. Do your D.

At the end of the day, Apple was once going bankrupt before they reinvented themselves. Other chipmaker was eating Nvidias lunch, look where Nvidia is today.

So the simple question is, does BB have a product customer wants?
