RE:RE:Let's dissect this babyHi Juan.
Thanks for your honest reply on my rant, with regard to cashburn and, I take all that ethical behaviour of the new Bombardier into account. That's why I'm still in. Because they didn't flush us down the St. Lawrence (great analogy btw.), and they are going about it the right way with BBA now.
The Forrest is the big picture of where they'are going with this company for 2025. I like it, and I think that they will succeed. Both EM and BD have done a great job for us the shareholders already.
These damn trees that they are throwing at us along the way, are the problem.
I'm just saying that.we're going to have a clear path to 2025 predictions of $7.5B and $1.5 EBITDA along with $500M +FCF. We're going to have some bumps along the way. I know this. I'm accepting this.I'm just saying that. If you are going to throw trees in the way Bombardier? Then at least tell us how big the trees are and when they will be cleared from our path.
In English. I don't care that they are burning cash. It's expected. You can't get a company back on track that was nearly Bankrupt and back on it's feet without spending money to righten it. I get it, and agree with the spending. What I don't want if BULL on pages of worthless words on a Financial Statement. Be real and transparant. Maybe I'm a little gun shy from their past when we had BT, and the CSeries development, and we were bleading cash, and having to read those pages, and pages of lies that brought my fuse to be short here. I don't think so. They diserve this checks, and balances berating that they are getting from me.
Just want to be told what type of tree they are throwing down on the path. That's it. Then we're on our way. Hopefully Juan (no pun intended) that we can cross that tree without incident. Meaning by that the Cashburn isn't too large that we aren't able to recoup. Remember they have to be prudent with Cash here.
Look this could be as simple as they used the money for the DEVELOPMENT of the CL3500 development upgrade recently. There could be some sensititivity with their competition, so they hid the real cashburn under this cost for discharging their Bond maturities.
Yes Patient/Nobody is right that the cash outlay is at the begining of the 5 year cycle. I'm ok with that. You have to spend money to make money. What I'm not ok with is burning cash every quarter, and no upside. It's time to make HAY in 2022.
The fact that they are delivering on time is great.Yes I'm confident that they will deliver 120 planes.
I just don't want to see this company end up like BT and then get sold off to a competitor for scrap. Let's face it. BT was bought by Alstom for the inventory, and to get rid of the competition, and therefore increase Alstom train prices. I don't want to see the same here.with BBA. You think GD won't wanna grab BBA for $2 a share. But that's the beauty of the dual share structure.
Last week I gave my opinion to this board of the SP value of BBA. If you noticed, I based that opinion on the acquisition/break up value of BBA. What value a company would pay for BBA. This was no accident. I don't want to see another BT scenario here. I want to see profits, and I want them to be FINANCIALLY PRUDENT.. Like I said. You can't keep spending the deposits as they come in, and not have money to buy inventory to build/deliver those planes. That's what happened with BT.
As for the share price value of this company? The SP will skyrocket when they stop burning cash, and are churning in +FCF in buckets of profit. Hopefulle we'll see that soon. That's when this company will be VALUABLE IMHO.
Cheers
.

BBD is far from distress valuation status but the market treats it as if it were so. There is no risk of default on any front.
They have learned and are an ethically minded company. Please give some respect and refrain from your inane scrutiny of every accounting entry.
They coukd have sold everyone down the St Lawrence river at .30 like Prem Watsa and his Norstar buddies but they did not.
