RE:RE:RE:Some toughts

RE:RE:RE:Some toughtsKeep in mind this recession is being induced.  Let that sink in, unlike previous recession, financial crisis etc. this recession is to tame inflation.  With the current rate hikes unemployment is still historic low. There was a time when low employment rate would drive stocks up now its doing the opposite.  Now low employment rate means rates will go up.

Another point is that this induced recession is to tap the break on inflation.  No one knows what will happen when the Central bank achieves the inflation rate they are aiming for.  Are they going to lower the rates when recession comes.  Central banks globally took too long to raise rates so they are playing catch up and have raised rates too quickly.  When recession comes they might have to lower it again.  They have shocked the market by aggressive increase.

Either way a recession will be short lived  but in any case the airline industry will be last to recover.  This is boon for private jets.  Also deposits are made for aircraft in backlog so dont expect massive cancelation.

There is always concerns, but for now Bombardier is finally 8position well.  And when business get used to efficiency of private jet, then they wont want to switch back to airline travel.

I work for a company where we have two bizz jets, one is configured in "airline bizz class" seating of 17 and the other in 7 club seating.  The 17 seater is used for employee movement between our facilities in NA.  The 7 seater is for EXEC use, but its open to be used by anyone if the bizz case shows traveling by 7 seater will be  cheaper then flying airline.  And most of the time if 5 or more are traveling for business meeting.then 7 seater is cheaper when you factor in security/airport line up and waiting for flight and added connections time and to make your own schedule. Not surprisingly 7 seater gets used a lot as it saves a lot of time, time that the company is paying its employees to travel.
