My tirade as you say has nothing to do with Canada bringing in people. Even at the pace of 500K or even more a year. The problem I have is that, they are bringing the wrong type of people in. The people coming in, are mostly the rich, who don't want to work. And mostly from country's that are war torn. If they want to bring in those war torn immigrants? Then at least bring in the poorer ones that want to work.

There is clearly a labour shortage and according to these numberts. 35 % of all industries are exepriencing it.
Labor shortages adds to inflation and if you are a net exporting company that affects the industries even more.
I din't get people's thinking on this.
BTW quebec is in the worst positon of all, but they would rather have less in order to up their percentages in french speaking numbers.
