Thievery What do you call what's going on here with the SP?
This is exactly what they they are doing. Why? Because they can.
It's sad that authorities allow this type of action to happen in Canada. I thought we were much smarter than that as a country. Other exchanges like the German & US. don't allow this type of shorting on the way down. & they have the uptick rule in place. Yet Canada is in the dark ages.
It's the same type of stupidity that Ontario Ford government is grappling with.
The Ontario government wants more housing to alleviate the housing shortage. Yet the Govt steals from the developers through heavy development fees. Why should the builders build in this environment, where the municipalities steal from developers. There is no margins given these high interest rate times, for profits. Especially given the costs for construction & raw materials. Yet the stupid Federal Govt., keeps on exasperating the problem through Immigration. Stop bringing these people in for another 2 to 3 years for the Housing construction to recover. Otherwise we'll get back to higher home prices in a year or 2. The US has it right. They'll keep interest rates higher and increase them if they have to for 3 to 4 years to stop demand. Canada is lying to its public by saying we will keep interest rates where they are until they squelch demand. The Canadian Govt is doing this because they want to avoid a recession. Well there is no avoiding a recession. This thieving flipping has to stop in Ontario. Those thieves that kept flipping houses have to suffer. Increase Interest rates higher & destroy their HELOC'S. The Era of cheap money has to end. Those still holding to flip again have to suffer for 5 years minimum with high interest rate payments.
Bombardier is doing very well. But these ORGANIZED thieves are killing the SP. These Authorities have to regulate the industry. Yet they don't even admit there is a problem. How can they fix the problem when they don't admit it exists? This is the problem in Canada. You get so many incompetent people in places that allow institutions & other very well organized organizations, to ROBBB us blind.
When is this Hypocrisy going to end?
When is this country going to get it's act together? Ignorance is not an EXCUSE. When everyone & their dog knows what is happening in the Exchange. Yet they are allowing these thieves to steal from TFSA'S & RRSP'S. When one goes to court for a speeding ticket and pleads not guilty because they didn't see the speeding sign posted. The judge always says that, that is not a usable excuse. Again these people know what they have to do. But they never do it. How can you fix the problem with inaction?
