RE:RE:RE:Breaking news: Ottawa écarte Bombardier

RE:RE:RE:Breaking news: Ottawa écarte BombardierIt's a sad day for a country when politicians make decisions based on enhancing their re-election chances even when they know it's worse for the country as a whole. Canadian media would be in an uproar if the Lberal government awarded BBD this contract, the masses woiuld be fed the story of more "handouts", which is a general consensus with most Canadians leading to instant defeat for the Libs in the 2025 election. No one on this board should be surprised with this outcome.

This deal could have been done, in 2018 between Boeing, the US, and the Canadian Govt, in 2018 at the USTC hearing of the 300% Tariff. That Boeing would drops/lose's the case, in exchange for the order of Aurora's.

We'll see what it does to the SP. The question was never about, whether the Canadian Gov't would choose Bombardier or Boeing. The question was always whether Trudeau would get re-elected, in Quebec, in the next Federal election. We now have the answer to that. It's a firm, NO.

Just goes to show you the kind kind of whoore Boeing is. If the Canadian Gov't had done that (P8) deal 2018, in exchange for a positive decision to the Bomber? Just saying that it got really political in 2018. Then, they (Trudeau's CG) had to stick to it. I'm just saying that they had to honor their decision. There is honor among thieves too you know. Wow PB. You gave the CSeries up for nothing. Who does that?
