bbd.A is trading at approx cdn $01.12, bbd.B was trading at Approx. cdn $ 0.42

bbd,A gained approx 194%, while bbd.B gained approx slim 30%

what happened to creat such gap

bbd.A gained almost 6.5 times what bbd.b Gained

in my opinion, that is what the movie producer decided, that is a senario in a new theater play 

wrttin, produced, executed by market makers to fill their pockets with novice investors money

the theory about the reverse split kind of makes sense, hope that one is wrong. short cover hopefully but all just speculation.. Ive google looking for answers but nothing.

itsalie 9 out of ten, is what they do when there is too many shares out at low prices, i hope not but it looks like that! wouldn't be surprised at all if this happens in 2021 after Alstom deal closed!

Imao its not a reverse split cause you cannot create disproportionate value between class of shares prior to a reverse split. That look like a  change of control at the upper level , maybe textron is buying beaudoin family with cdpq .

The private equity is flooded with money , look at record breaking indexes. I tend to also think that there are some negotiations with the family for a takeover. It also appears that the price offered is in the range $1.50-2 USd . I hope the family accepts it and maybe they could even negotiate some more premium. In that case announcement could be sudden and b's and A's would go for the

If there was an offer on the table they would have needed to halt trading based on a leak. I hold Chorus shares and this just happened recently, shares were halted pending news re an offer. No more details than that but a sudden spike in share value forced a PR based on leaked information.

There is not necessarily an offer at this stage, a take over sometimes start by a group accumulating the stock first and informal discussion after before making a deal. One thing is sure with BBD a change of control at the BBD,a would confer the same right of disposal for the B shares. That gap will not prevail forever,

If your thoughts are correct, the gap will not last since the market always gets it right eventually. If the gap doesn't close, it can't be anything good for the B's.
