Pourcentage of Short (anybody knows)
I was wondering if anyone knew the % of the stock that is shorted.

Not a larg number. I belive about 5% of the float which is over 2B

No is not a lot I think I saw around 160 millions one time (Club you can correct me if I’m wrong) and heaven at 160 millions it’s only 0.7%. but that small pourcentage maid us loose 90% of our money.!! CLTALongs.

14% of traded volume not same comparison to % of float as i assume that .7% means. you will find the history here both for short trade volume and short positions. https://www.iiroc.ca/industry/marketmonitoringanalysis/Pages/short-sale-trading-summary-report-and-consolidated-short-position-report.aspx

Yes Club I was comparing 160 to 2400 millions the approx of the float. to show the fact that a small % of the trades can make us loose so much money.

not alot in the last two weeks, but how many shares has beeen shorted only in the last two years, must be huge!
