Is the Global 8000 a catalyst?
A question was asked about the lack of a catalyst to infuse some energy in the sp a little while ago and I'm wondering if the Global 8000 could be it.
I doubt I'm the only one to wonder but would like to hear for others.. be it long, shorts, traders or whatever you consider yourself to be.
Here's what I think... The Global 8000 was a bit unexpected and it might impact the budgeting for the development or a new aircraft. Why... because, as Eric Martel mentionned, the development money for the 8000 is already factored in the 2025 goals.
This might somehow be the new aircraft needed, thus freeing up money that could be put to work on the debt... or elsewhere.
Opinions?
Thanks,

There was quite a detailed piece on it on cnn. Reached Mach 1.012 but more .94 Cost at 78 million.

Il va surement avoir des commendes aujourd hui et dans les prochain jours et semaine. Il faut aussi tenir conte que le 7500 peut se modifier en 8000. voir site Bombardier

IMHO. The catalyst to the SP increase will be another 2 to 3, +FCF Quarters. The Global 8000 will show the industry, that Bombardier is still the Leader of the BJ industry. If the development costs are already included in the company's Projected Guidence for 2025 all the better. To me the money for the development is the key to the G800 intro.
