I think it's important though to keep in mind that your reference indicates only Bombardier's estimate of what the expected production rate might be based on what they know now, or knew back when they were quoted on it.

The parameters might be quite different in a few years if orders are much differen from what is projected.

"....within about three years of production start..." So with production start still about 2.5 years off they're trying to estimate something that's more than five years down the road. You can bet Bombardier won't hesitate to tweak that rate up or down as necessary.

So,  I don't know how meaningful it can be to say "The production rate will be 1 per day."  I think we have to just assume the company is making an educated guess here based on what they know so far.
